Giving Back, Growing Together: AMZ Prep Volunteers with Muslim Welfare Canada
Being part of a community also means finding ways to support it. Recently, members of the AMZ Prep team volunteered alongside Muslim Welfare Canada.
The Toronto-based charity has supported people in need for more than 30 years. Its work includes food banks, shelters, senior care, and free medical clinics, with programs reaching from the GTA to Canada’s Arctic.
The day gave our team a chance to step outside their usual routines and work together in a new setting. It was a meaningful experience to contribute to an initiative that makes a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
AMZ Prep is headquartered in Toronto. Supporting the communities around us is a small way to give something back. Sometimes, giving back is simply about showing up, lending a hand, and being there for others.
“Our team spends every day solving problems for the brands we work with. Spending a day helping families in our own backyard felt just as important. We’ll be back,” said Blair Forrest, Founder of AMZ Prep.
A big thank you to the Muslim Welfare Canada team for the work they continue to do. Thanks also to everyone from AMZ Prep who took the time to participate.
This follows our earlier volunteering day with Who Is Hussain. We plan to keep community work a regular part of our calendar and will share what’s next here in the newsroom.
