AMZ Prep Heathrow: a real UK fulfillment center at Heathrow, United Kingdom
Heathrow is one of only five locations where AMZ Prep operates a physical UK warehouse, alongside Southampton, Peterborough, Northampton, and Wallasey. This isn't a coverage zone served from another facility. Inventory is received, stored, prepped, and shipped from this site.
This Is a Real Facility
Not a coverage zone. A warehouse, at this exact address.
Plenty of 3PL websites list cities they "serve" without saying where anything physically sits. Heathrow isn't one of those listings. It's a real building, with a real address, doing real work.
This is one of only five physical fulfillment centers AMZ Prep operates in the United Kingdom. The other four are in Southampton, Peterborough, Northampton, and Wallasey. Roughly three dozen other UK cities on AMZ Prep's site are honestly labeled as coverage areas served from one of these five facilities, sometimes from a considerable distance. Heathrow is not one of those cities. It has the warehouse.
That distinction matters for anything time sensitive or inventory heavy. Inbound shipments to the Heathrow facility don't have to clear a second regional hub before work starts on them. Pick, pack, prep, and dispatch all happen under one roof, which is part of why the accuracy and turnaround figures on this page hold up the way they do.
AMZ Prep publishes the general location rather than a specific unit address for this site. Sellers working with the facility receive full site and delivery details directly during onboarding.
Services at This Facility
What actually happens inside the Heathrow warehouse
Every service below is performed on site at Heathrow, not routed to a different facility for handling.
1 to 3 day turnaround on Amazon FBA prep at the Heathrow facility, including FNSKU labeling, poly bagging, and kitting, before forwarding into Amazon's network. Zero placement fees on FBA shipments.
Direct-to-consumer order fulfillment shipped straight from Heathrow, with the 48-hour UK shipping standard applied to outbound orders.
Temperature-controlled storage on site at Heathrow for products that need it, rather than a transfer to a separate cold-chain location.
Multi-item kits and bundles assembled at Heathrow, so orders arrive as a single finished unit rather than loose components.
Custom packaging, polybagging, and labeling to marketplace or brand spec, applied at the Heathrow facility before an order ships.
Inbound quality inspection and returns processing handled directly at Heathrow, so a return doesn't need to travel to a different facility to be resolved.
Credentials & Network
Heathrow runs under the same certifications as every AMZ Prep facility
The Heathrow facility isn't held to a lower standard because it's one of five rather than one of fifty. It operates under the same audited quality system as the rest of the network.
AMZ Prep runs 50+ fulfillment centers across 6 countries, the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Netherlands, and UAE, processing more than 8 million units a month across that network. Heathrow draws on the same Navigate WMS platform, staff training, and quality controls as every other facility in it. Being a real, physical location in Heathrow doesn't make it a smaller operation; it makes it a direct, unmediated part of a much larger one.
